Snowflake Media sponsors FC Halifax Town

After 13 years of growing the marketing agency purely by word of mouth, we decided to practice what we preach to our local, National & International clients!

1. Get involved in the community in which you live
2. If you want to reach more people, start marketing your company

It sounds obvious, but we focus so much on promoting other businesses, authors and brands, we rarely put Snowflake Media front and centre.

I’m thrilled to announce a terrific sponsorship deal that will see the various Snowflake Media Group brands and partners work closely with FC Halifax Town. In a deal that will help fund new camera’s, media box and hopefully other goodies, it is a great opportunity for us to help advise the team on their fan engagement strategy. (They don’t have to listen of course…but it won’t stop us trying.)

We have 3 phases to the sponsorship, the first two of which are now live. This is the sponsorship of the Matchday Team sheet at FC Halifax Town and the sponsorship of Social media match day notifications & commentary which started in last weeks match against Boreham Wood.

Our next and final phase of the sponsorship will be a Fan competition that will run in every home league match and will see cash prizes for fans who choose to engage on Town’s social media (@FCHTOnline for you Twitter fans!) or use a (soon to be announced) specific hashtag.

Well done to the Digital Jumpsuit division of the company for getting involved in the strategy. We think it will be great fun and hopefully a start to a long and beneficial association for all involved.

Snowflake Media sponsors FC Halifax Town

FC Halifax Town is reaping the rewards of a great start to the season with its latest sponsorship deal with Halifax-based marketing agency, Snowflake Media Group.

For the first time, FC Halifax Town fans will see Matchday social media updates and Radio commentary sponsorship, which can be seen as an acknowledgement of the strong online presence the club has built up over the past few seasons.

“It’s been over 35 years since I first watched a match from the terraces of The Shay and I’m thrilled to be working with the club to help sustain and increase the buzz around the club.” Said Lee Kenny, Managing Director of the Snowflake Media Group. “We always talk about having fun with our National and International clients, so the whole team is looking forward to having some fun on our home turf too!”

Fans can make their Mark too & win

Snowflake Media will also be sponsoring an innovative matchday competition that could see fan’s win up to £1500 when checking in to the club and sharing their experiences on social media. FC Halifax Town is looking for Town fans called Mark to be the face of a brand-new interactive campaign for the Shaymen’s home games.
